|
The government Monday evening approved increased aid for Bnei Brak and some parts of Jerusalem that were declared as "restricted areas" as part of the national effort to curb the spread of coronavirus.
The lockdown imposed on Jerusalem neighborhoods with high coronavirus contagion rates expired on Sunday and the lockdown is set to expire overnight Wednesday at midnight.
Authorities will continue to provide essential goods for residents of both cities and increase enforcement of social distancing orders.
