Tel Aviv Mayor Ron Huldai has ordered the establishment of a NIS 700,000 emergency fund to assist the city's independent artists.
The aid will be distributed to hundreds of artists through grants. The fund's money is comprised of private donations and the municipal budget. It will also provide support to the employees of municipal cultural centers and the cultural associations supported by the municipality.
