IDF reducing number of troops dedicated to coronavirus pandemic

|
The IDF has announced it is cutting in half the number of troops dedicated to aiding the public during the coronavirus pandemic.
Some 700 soldiers will remain in Bnei Brak, the Haredi neighborhoods in Jerusalem and some communities in the Arab sector to help residents who are still under strict restrictions imposed to curb the spread of COVID-19.
Troops called up to reserve duty after the outbreak of the pandemic will be released, but the military will continue to manage the hotels dedicated to the treatment of coronavirus patients.
