Former U.S. Vice President Joe Biden, the presumed nominee of the Democratic party in the 2020 race for the White House, won Friday the endorsement from the Jewish Democratic Council of America.
According to its statement, as cited by the Jewish Telegraphic Agency, the group said that Biden stood by "the principle of Tikkun Olam, healing the world," and was a fighter against anti-Semitism and supporter of a strong relationship between the U.S. and Israel.
