Exercise restrictions to be lifted after Independence Day

|
Exercise restrictions will be lifted in Israel on Thursday morning, allowing people to move more than 500 meters from their homes when engaging in sporting activity.
Ministers had voted to lift the restrictions immediately, but reached a compromise with Health Ministry chief Moshe Bar-Siman-Tov that the move would not take effect until after Independence Day on Wednesday.
Organized sports will also be allowed on condition that sporting bodies adhere to coronavirus restrictions.
