Israel earmarks NIS 6 billion for 'back to work' plan

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Finance Minister Moshe Kahlon have allocated a special budget of up to NIS 6 billion for getting people back into work.
The decision was made with the backing of the governor of the Bank of Israel.
Israel's economy, like many others, has been hard hit by the coronavirus outbreak, with unemployment soaring to more than 25% since the pandemic began.
