Yisrael Beytenu Chairman Avigdor Liberman on Tuesday accused Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of pushing for a fourth consecutive election as the High Court of Justice discusses his Likud party and Blue & White's coalition deal and claimed he is the only suitable alternative for Israel's longest-reigning premier.
"Netanyahu is laying the groundwork for a fourth election because of his kerfuffle with the High Court," Liberman told the Ynet studio. "Everything that I saw yesterday brings me to this conclusion. Netanyahu is trying to avoid trial and a state committee of inquiry regarding coronavirus."
The only person who can face Netanyahu is Avigdor Liberman. I do wish to create a governing alternative."
