Gov't to extend obligatory isolation in 'coronavirus hotels' for overseas arrivals

Itamar Eichner|
The government on Tuesday is set to extend the obligatory isolation for arrivals from overseas in specially designated hotels until the beginning of next week as part of the measures to stave off the spread of coronavirus.
In the meantime, discussions in the government will continue in order to find alternatives to the existing arrangement, which costs the Israeli taxpayer about NIS 250 million a month.
