Yemen gov't records 9 new virus infections, Houtis report 1st case, taking total to 22

Yemen's internationally-recognized government announced on Tuesday nine new coronavirus cases and one death, raising total infections to 21 and three deaths, the country's supreme national emergency committee said on Twitter.
Eight cases were detected in the southern port city of Aden and another infection was recorded in Hadhramout region, it said.
The Houthi-controlled government in the north has its first confirmed case of the novel coronavirus in the capital Sanaa, the group's al-Masirah TV reported on Tuesday citing the health minister.
Masirah added the infection was recorded in a Somali national.
