The number of coronavirus fatalities in Israel has risen to 240, the Health Ministry said Thursday evening, and the number of confirmed cases has increased to 16,381.
In the past 24 hours, there have been 71 new cases of the disease, a rise in the rate of infection compared to the previous three days.
There are currently 5,268 people in Israel who are infected with the virus, while 10,873 people have recovered.
