Following this week's local showers, the Sea of Galilee's water level rose by half a centimeter (0.3 inches) overnight, standing at 208.905 meters below sea level, The Government Water and Sewage Authority reported on Friday.
The Sea of Galilee is still 10.5 (~4 inches) short of reaching its full capacity.
A government-approved flotilla of 100 vessels will set sail in the Sea of Galilee as a salute to medical teams and security forces.
