Israeli found guilty for contact with a foreign agent, smuggling contraband

A resident of the Gaza border area was found guilty Sunday, for having contact with a foreign agent.
Michael Peretz was convicted smuggling contraband into the Gaza Strip that could assist Hamas in their military operations against Israel.
According to the prosecution, Peretz made eight million NIS for arranging the transfer of the merchandise in coordination with a Gazan merchant. He had declared bankruptcy at the time.
