Outgoing Education Minister and former member of the Yamina party leadership, Rafi Peretz is to join the new Netanyahu government in exchange for the Jerusalem Ministry.
The announcement came late Thursday.
Peretz's former political partner outgoing Defense Minister Naftali Bennett accused Netanyahu of selling out the religious zionist voters who supported him believing he would advance their ideological policies including the annexation of parts of the West Bank.
Bennett announced he would be presenting an alternative to Netanyahu for voters on the right.
