United Nations Special Envoy to the Middle East, Nikolai Mladnov, warned of the implications of any West Bank annexation, saying it is "a major threat that is prohibited by international law."
He warned that such actions "will have legal, political and security implications."
He added that the coronavirus enabled exemplary cooperation between Israel and the Palestinians, but it did not create the political impetus needed to resolve the conflict.
"Such measure will damage the chance for peace and radicalize both sides," Mladnov warned.
