Newly-appointed Education Minister Yoav Galant ordered on Wednesday to conduct an inquiry into the case of the girl who was required to take off her dress and stay in her underwear at a Petah Tikva elementary school after apparently violating a dress code.
"The case was brought to the attention of the education minister," said the official statement. "The minister has ordered for an inquiry be conducted, with its conclusions presented to the director general of the ministry, in order to prevent similar cases from happening in the future," said the statement.
