Finance Minister Israel Katz met with representatives of the Venues and Event Gardens Association on Wednesday, after venue owners began a hunger strike in protest of the regulations that prohibit them from reopening due to coronavirus.
The parties agreed on a series of measures aimed at helping the venue owners in the face of the crisis, including three months' exemption from paying property tax.
