Israel's coronavirus deaths rose to 279, with confirmed cases also rising to 16,665, the Health Ministry reported Wednesday.
Out of the 2,812 patients currently battling the virus, 46 are in serious condition, with 40 connected to ventilators, 36 are in mild condition, and the rest are in light condition.
At least 13,547 have recovered from the pathogen.
