Health Ministry to okay gatherings of up to 50 people in open, closed spaces

|
Health Minister Yuli Edelstein instructed Health Ministry Director-General Moshe Bar Siman Tov on Thursday to allow gatherings of up to 50 people in both open and closed spaces.
Civilians will still be required to adhere to social distancing rules and wear face masks.
Moreover, employees are no longer required to wear face masks at the workplace and must only maintain 1.20 meters (4 feet) apart from their colleagues instead of 1.50 meters (5 feet) so far.
"We must not be too complacent," said Edelstein. "The reopening of the economy depends on our adherence to Health Ministry regulations. Without cooperation, the outbreak may return and the economy will close again."
