The Health Ministry on Sunday reported that the number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Israel rose to 17,071, a rise of 53 new infections.
No new deaths were reported, with the total standing at 285.
Out of the current 1,994 patients battling the virus, 33 are in serious condition, out of which 30 require respiratory assistance; 44 are in mild condition and the rest are in light condition.
At least 14,792 have recovered from the virus.
