Defense Minister Benny Gantz’s one-time aide, Col. Yaki Dolef, was named on Sunday his military secretary.
Dolef, who currently commands the Northern Gaza Brigade, served for two years as Gantz’s aide when the defense minister was IDF chief of staff, and is considered a close confidant.
Dolef will be promoted to the rank of brigadier general and will succeed Brig. Gen. Ofer Winter, who currently serves as military secretary to the defense minister.
