Knesset approved the Norwegian law in a preliminary reading Monday night.
The new bill would allow government ministers to resign from Knesset and be replaced by other members of their parties.
The proposal will be delivered to the Constitution, Law, and Justice Committee to be prepared for a second and third reading.
