Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and President Reuven Rivlin both welcome the detention of a Palestinian believed to have killed First Sgt. Amit Ben Yigal last month.
"I would like to commend the IDF, the Shin Bet and the security forces for catching the lowly killer of the late Amit Ben Yigal," Netanyahu said.
"We will work tirelessly against terrorism and its operatives and will ensure the safety of Israeli citizens," the president said.
