Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met on Wednesday with visiting German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas.
Following the meeting, Netanyahu's office released a statement saying the two men discussed the economic fallout of the coronavirus pandemic as well as regional issues.
Netanyahu stressed the need to increase pressure on the Iranian regime in efforts to stop their nuclear program which was reported by the U.N. to be in violation of the nuclear agreement.
Maas asked to be briefed on Israel's intentions regarding annexation in the West Bank and heard the Israeli position on preserving its security and national interests in the area.
