Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lior Haiat praises a tweet in Hebrew by the UAE Director of Strategic Communications, Hend Al Otaiba, as she promoted an opinion piece for Ynet by the UAE envoy to Washington.
" What a nice surprise reading a tweet in Hebrew," wrote Haiat on Twitter.
"Israel has extended its hand in peace to its neighbors since its creation. Peace is an opportunity for the whole Middle East, and provides potential for us all. The US Peace Initiative is a starting point to realize this vision."
