An official report published Monday by the National Information and Knowledge Center - a department of the IDF, shows Tel Aviv has double the national rate of infection as of Sunday and is measured at 3% contagion after a consistent rise in cases over the past two weeks.
The center recommended public gatherings be banned in the city only a day after government regulations were updated to permit up to 250 participants in events.
