Twenty-six medical personnel from Rambam Healthcare Campus in Haifa entered isolation on Tuesday, after treating a coronavirus patient who needed surgery.
The woman was brought in by ambulance with an urgent medical problem, and after initial treatment was admitted to the operating room.
The hospital made it clear that the personnel were protected, but since the women underwent an invasive procedure, isolation of those involved was required.
