Israel sees slight drop in defense exports in 2019-2020

|
Israeli defense exports totaled $7.2 billion in 2019, down slightly from the previous year ($7.5 billion), the Defense Ministry said on Monday.
Israel's chief executive officer for international defense cooperation, Yair Kulas, said in a statement that the Covid-19 epidemic was likely to have affected sales this year.
"We expected sales to increase in 2020 but the coronavirus pandemic devastated the global economy and the defense industry," he said.
