Report: Israel planning tax on goods bought online

|
Israel is mulling a new tax on goods purchased online as part of planning for the next state budget, Bloomberg reports.
According to the report, the new levy would apply to all personal online transactions, ending the current policy on tax exemptions for purchases up to $75.
The outlet quoted a person familiar with the issue as saying that the move would raise "a few hundred million shekels to fill the country’s budget deficit."
