Saudi Arabian support for American efforts to extend a UN arms ban on Tehran is a "bitter joke", Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesman Abbas Mousavi said on Tuesday, according to the official IRNA news agency.
Saudi and U.S. officials on Monday urged the international community to extend the UN arms embargo, saying that letting the ban expire would allow Tehran to further arm its proxies and destabilize the region.
