Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Thursday said that if Israel wishes to keep the economy going, certain restrictions must be introduced to combat the continued spread of coronavirus.
"The virus is not gone, is still here and kicking," said Netanyahu following a cabinet meeting earlier that approved a series of new restrictions on public gatherings.
"I emphasized that opening up the economy is contingent on the health guidelines."
