Health Ministry reports 840 new virus cases since midnight

The Health Ministry reported Friday evening that 840 Israelis have tested positive for the novel coronavirus since midnight.
The number of active coronavirus patients currently stands at 16,739, among them, 130 in serious condition and 42 patients are on ventilators.
Two patients have succumbed to COVID-19 since midnight and the country's death tally from the virus stands at 351.
