The Health Ministry on Wednesday reported that 1,055 new cases of coronavirus were diagnosed since midnight, with two additional virus-related deaths.
The national case toll since the beginning of the pandemic sits at 43,668 and the death toll at 375.
Out of the current 23,399 patients battling the virus, 205 are in serious condition, with 57 connected to ventilators.
