Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says the government will take further steps within the next 48 hours "to flatten the curve" in the second wave of coronavirus and avoid a new national lockdown.
"We are doing everything we can to avoid a full closure, but to avoid it, we need your full cooperation, citizens of Israel," he says.
