Nurses' strike ends after more staffing promised

|
Israel's nursing union ended its strike Tuesday morning after the government agreed to increase staffing in hospitals.
The nurses began their walk-out Monday after months of negotiations to increase their numbers yielded no resolution, claiming they would not be able to respond adequately to the coronavirus crisis.
The government has agreed to add 2,000 nurses to the healthcare system.
