Arnon Bar-David, chair of the Histadrut (General Organization of Workers in Israel), warned on Tuesday that if a solution is not found for the social workers, their general strike will be expanded to other sectors of the economy.
Israel's social workers have been on a general strike for 16 days in protests of manpower shortage and working conditions.
