Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Sunday that the military would be assuming a considerable role in efforts to break chains of coronavirus contagion in Israel.
Speaking before the weekly cabinet meeting Netanyahu confirmed the Ynet report that epidemiological investigations would be moved to the purview of the Defense Ministry.
"There are no magic solutions," the prime minister said. "Without personal responsibility from every citizen, the pandemic cannot be contained and though there is some indication that there is some improvement, it is not enough."
