High Court rejects lesbian couple plea to register both mothers as parents

The High Court of Justice on Sunday dismissed a petition by a lesbian couple to be allowed to register as parents on their baby's birth certificates.
According to the court's decision, only one parent in same-sex families could be registered legally as the mother or father of the children, in conjunction with the parent's sex.
