Temple Mount opened to Jewish visitors for Tisha B'Av

|
The Temple Mount in Jerusalem is opened to Jewish visitors to mark Tisha B'Av, the day on which Jews mourn the destruction of the two biblical Temples that stood on the site.
The visitors will be allowed to the site in groups of 20, entering two minutes apart.
The mount, which today houses the Al-Aqsa Mosque, has often been the site of tensions between Jews and Muslims.
