Minister of Jerusalem and Heritage Rafi Peretz said in a tweet on Saturday that he has contracted coronavirus.
"On Saturday evening, it turned out unfortunately that I came out positive for the coronavirus test I took on Friday. I'm feeling good at the moment and wishing health to all Israeli patients."
Police announced that the Jerusalem District Police Chief, Superintendent Doron Yedid, entered isolation after meeting with Peretz last week.
