A representative of the National Security Council told lawmakers on Monday that the decision to continue barring non-Israelis from entering the country is not only due to health concerns.
"If we allow non-Israelis in from certain countries we would be obliged to allow others, such as Americans in and thought the U.S. in our friend, it is a red country due to the spread of COVID-19," he told members of the Knesset Committee on the coronavirus pandemic.
