IDF: Rocket fired from Gaza lands in open area

The IDF confirmed on Tuesday evening a rocket fired by Palestinian militants landed in an open space in one of Israeli communities bordering the Strip.
No casualties or damage was reported.
Earlier, rocket alert sirens sounded in the city of Ashkelon and communities in the Gaza border region.
