Chief of Staff Lieutenant-General Aviv Kochavi paid a visit Northern Command on Wednesday , following Hezbollah's attempted attack on Tuesday night. During the visit Kochavi participated in a situation assessment discussion. According to the IDF Spokeperson Unit, Kochavi was "impressed by the operational and intelligence capabilities of the forces on the ground and noted favorably the forces' level of readiness."
