NIS 86 million allocated for COVID-19 vaccination research

Defense Minister Benny Gantz and Finance Minister Israel Katz agreed on Thursday on the allocation of NIS 86 million for the Israel Institute for Biological Research, which seeks to develop a coronavirus vaccine and advance antibodies research.
The money will be used mainly to fund the vaccination pilot program that is scheduled to begin after the Jewish High Holidays.
