Health Ministry reports 2,119 new coronavirus cases

The Health Ministry on Thursday reported 2,119 new coronavirus cases in the span of 24 hours. Out of the 24,825 patients currently battling the virus, 417 are in serious condition, with 117 connected to ventilators.
Also reported were additional virus-related fatalities, putting the death toll at 985.
