Foreign Minister Gabi Ashkenazi on Monday spoke with his Greek counterpart Nikos Dendias and was told Greece will no longer restrict the number of Israelis allowed to enter its borders, after it had limited entrance to 1,200 people per week. All tourists would be required to show updated coronavirus test results.
The decision would be in effect as of next week.
Ashkenzi thanks Dendias saying Greece is proving its strong friendship by being the first country to welcome all Israelis.
