Health Officials say on Monday that 3,167 new cases of COVID-19 were detected on Sunday.
There are 519 patients currently in serious condition in hospitals of which 144 are on ventilators.
Israeli fatalities from COVID-19 since the start of the pandemic stand on 1,119 people.
