The Health Ministry reported Tuesday morning that the number of coronavirus patients in serious condition dropped from 772 to 755 and the number of patients on ventilators dropped from 207 to 209.
There are currently 65,025 active carriers of the virus after 1,121 new cases of coronavirus have been detected in the previous 24 hours, 143 since midnight.
Since the onset of the pandemic in Israel, 1,507 Israelis succumbed to COVID-19, the illness caused by coronavirus.
