Health Ministry reports 7,024 new coronavirus cases, 19 new deaths

The Health Ministry reported on Saturday that out of the 62,062 coronavirus tests performed on Friday, 7,024 were found positive for the contagion. The number of virus-related deaths rose by 19 since midnight, putting the death toll at 1,679. The number of patients in serious condition is 839, of which 224 are connected to a ventilator.
