Chief of Staff Lieutenant general Aviv Kochavi paid a surprise visit to the training base of the Kfir Brigade, which was found to be one of the ten bases in which the handling of the pandemic is lacking.
After the visit, the IDF issued a statement : "The chief of staff was under the impression that many actions had been taken to prevent the spread of the disease, and yet he instructed to maintain high discipline and tighten enforcement of procedures and orders."
