The employment service updated that in the last day, 10,201 new jobseekers registered with the service. With the imposement of the new restrictions on the eve of Rosh Hashanah, 188,221 jobseekers registered with the employment service - of which 171,536 were forced on unpaid leave.
For 139,293 this is the second or more registration with the service since the coronavirus crisis began in March.
Currently there 918,784 jobseekers registered with the Employment Service.
